Festival season is a bittersweet time for many. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to catch at least a couple of the big festivals, but unless you’ve got money to burn and also no responsibilities, it’s inevitable that you’ll find yourself in the position—at least once a season—of sitting at your cold, heartless computer watching videos from the shows and wishing you were in the crowd.
Watching these videos can be torturous, but at least you can see what you missed and then maybe years down the road when your brain is shriveled and glitchy, you will think back like, “Yea, yea, I remember Coachella 2013. I was there. I saw R. Kelly perform with Phoenix.” Good enough.
