Bluegrass sometimes gets a bad rap because there is a subculture of goofy bluegrass bands who try to make a career out of silly, quirky bluegrass covers of popular songs. This week, we get a new cover from zany bluegrass band The Beef Seeds. They take on the No. 1 song in the country at the moment, Lorde’s “Royals.” If you’ve not yet had enough of “Royals,” this might be the final straw. It comes complete with a pre-song comedy routine and a lyric change to, “I’m in love with being beef!” Enjoy the rest of your Friday, if you can.
