EXGF have the songs—only two so far, but they’re strong. These days, you need more than that. There are dozens of new acts popping every day with good songs, and to stand out, there needs to be some kind of cohesive message, something that people can get behind. That’s where EXGF stands out. Although they’re choosing to share very little about who they are, they’re painting a very clear picture of what they’re all about on Instagram and tumblr.
This is extremely accessible pop music, but it’s presented with a youthful edge that should resonate with people who don’t relate to Katy Perry or Taylor Swift.
