It wouldn’t feel like the end of the year without the 2012 edition of Virginia emcee Skillz‘s “Rap Up” series. Every year is packed full of memorable characters and events, and the “2012 Rap Up,” off of his album Thoughts Become Things, provides an effective summary of the highs, lows, and in-betweens. Blue Ivy Carter, the iPhone 5, and same-sex marriages are but a few of the topics covered. This is Skillz’s tenth year fulfilling his annual tradition, and by the sound of things, he’s about ready to conclude the series. Now we just need someone to do a rap up of all of the rap ups.
