While we’re not sure why, or how real the grenade is, Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips recently attempted to bring a grenade (or something that resembled a grenade) onto a plane in OKC, resulting in the TSA shutting down the airport’s concourse, inconveniencing a number of people who ended up missing flights due to this situation. The Lost Ogle spoke with someone who apparently had to shell out an extra $1000 to catch another flight; they snapped a few photos of Coyne at the TSA checkpoint, as well as security blocking entrance into part of the airport. Coyne also tweeted an apology, but there’s been no real explanation of WHY he brought the grenade to the airport.
