After the official remix of Desiigner's "Tiimmy Turner" featuring none other than Kanye Westsurfaced at Travi$ Scott's .WAV party last month, fans have been eagerly anticipating the remix in full. Well, good news for fans, as it appears that the official remix is now available, and features even more hard-hitting rhymes from Kanye.
Desiigner had been teasing "Tiimmy Turner" for months, and when he finally released it, the single immediately proved to be one of the most polarizing songs this year so far. Even so, "Tiimmy Turner" has inspired a number of stellar interpretations and remixes, from percussion versions of the song to flips by DJ Premier.
Recently, Desiigner discussed his own music in a new Tidal video series called DNA and explained that he doesn't consider what he makes as hip-hop, explaining that everyone at G.O.O.D. Music "show [themselves] and present [themselves] as artists only." Instead, he refers to himself as a "melody person" ("I make melodies and add flavor to it"), which may help some better understand a song like "Tiimmy Turner."
