For his latest video, charismatic Chicago emcee Alex Wiley takes a strange trip into the forest (an apt, if perhaps a bit on the nose representation of the song’s title, “The Woods). It’s a clip reminiscent of the artwork you’d find in an Outkast album booklet, heavy on psychedelic colors and filters, women, and a healthy dose of surrealism–all appropriate for a song that feels born of Outkast’s late 90s/early 2000s sound and aesthetic. Watch “The Woods” above.
