If new single “Feel” is any indicator, recently-formed, self-described alternative R n’ B duo Dead Times has a knack for detail and an ear for melody. Though restrained, “Feel” is jam-packed with slick drums, tasteful bass, bright organs, touches of strings, multi-tracked vocals, and enough bells and whistles to make it seem far bigger than its run time (a modest three minutes and twelve seconds) in the best ways.
