Black El and Durkin - "DOJA"

1.

Trippy seems to be the way to go these days, so why not throw a dash of class and flare into your journey? That’s what Massachusetts duo Black El and Durkin have decided to do on the clip for their latest loosie, “DOJA.” As Black El describes it, “DOJA” takes cues from film noir, with “a smoky, sinister black & white backdrop eventually gives way to a trippy strobe light montage representing the escape of a euphoric high.” The visuals are well tailored to El’s rapping and Durkin’s constantly evolving beat, a composition that starts in the clouds and works itself into a rhythm reminiscent of jungle music. A ride worth taking.
