No Wyld's last single, the Allan Kingdom-featuring "Tomorrow," was expansive and cinematic, but their latest song favors a simpler approach. With deep bass, finger snaps, and a sparse backdrop, "Grown Up" keeps the emphasis on a hypnotic melody and a message everyone can relate to. "It's about wanting to become the person that young you wanted to be," frontman Mo Kheir explains. "This wasn't how I saw life going."
