The world is a terrible place, but every now and then the stars align and everything in the universe seems perfect, if only for a fleeting moment. This is one of those moments for me, as Lykke Li's cover of "Unchained Melody" is finally available in full.
Lykke Li is one of my favorite artists, and "Unchained Melody" is a perfect song. Lykke has covered it at concerts, during this radio appearance, and in this adorable video with her son, but a full studio rendition wasn't ever officially released. Recently a new recording of the song appeared in an Apple commercial, and today the full version is finally out. Listen to it below, hear it on all streaming platforms, and don't talk to me for the rest of the day because I'm in my zone.
