We don't know much about BOYBOY. He gave us a little information back in April—he's from New Zealand, he lives in Los Angeles, and he spends a lot of time in the quiet. So far, there only only a handful of songs out, but the mood is starting to take shape. BOYBOY's music so far has been characterized by hazy pop production, immediate songwriting, very little clutter, and awesome bass lines. His new track "Daylight" is some of his sharpest work yet.

"It’s about living in a big city and feeling the social pressure to hustle, realizing that self-focus is more beneficial," BOYBOY explains. "I think of releasing full-lengths like a painter putting on an exhibition. At the moment I’m just focusing on individual works."
