Video: First Aid Kit - "My Silver Lining"

Swedish sister duo First Aid Kit has released a video for their track “My Silver Lining,” a song set to appear on their forthcoming album, Stay Gold. Directed by Elliott Sellers, the clip finds the band wandering around locations in Los Angeles in a dreamy state. Said the band about the video:

We wanted to create an intriguing and mysterious world where everything is slightly off and the mansion slowly comes to life. The idea of things in life changing, even scaring you, but still having to carrying on despite it all is a theme in the song, which we wanted to convey in the video.

As you’ll see from the clip, the two succeed in delivering a ghostly, unsteadying feel to their material. The track is a strutting, no-nonsense folk tune offset by woozy imagery, storm clouds, and ominous owls. Watch the entire clip above.

Stay Gold is out June 10 via Columbia.
