After an incredibly successful introduction that included the timeless "Damn, Gravity," Okay Kaya took some time deciding her next move. Last year she stepped into acting, appearing as the mysterious, dangerous Anja in Joachim Trier's Thelma, but for 2018 she's returning to music in a big way: "IUD" is the lead single off her debut album, due out later this year. It also showcases the Norwegian artist's unique ability to combine feather-light vocals and instrumentation with lyrics that often broach life's heaviest questions.

You can probably guess the subject at hand in "IUD." Kaya details a difficult decision: just because you're in love with someone, doesn't mean you want to have their baby. Just as impressive is the accompanying video, a pristine countryside summer adventure that twists and turns into something completely different by song's end. Watch "IUD" above, and revisit Okay Kaya's timeless cover of Leo Sayer's "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" below.
