Los Angeles (by way of Washington) producer Lophiile caught our attention late last summer with his bright, bouncy debut solo single "Preach," and today he's back with another summer-ready cut alongside Nick Grant and Moss Kena.

Premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 Radio show this morning by Apple's head of artist curation, Carl Chery, the song was described as "extraterrestrial" by the hip-hop/r&b tastemaker, who said it sounded like it was straight out of a scene from Stranger Things.

Layering a subtly eerie atmosphere under Nick Grant and Moss Kena's vocals, the Lophiile opts for an otherworldly feel on a song that could have just as easily gone in an uninspired "song of the summer" direction. This is weird in all the right ways. Listen below. "Newno" begins at the 1:25 mark.
