The mystery boy has spoken. The NYC artist returns today with "Donuts" featuring his S-Rank counterpart Kensei Abbot and begins the journey to his upcoming mixtape Momentum.
This is just the beginning of a narrative-driven campaign leading into the project as Ro stated in an email. “Mauve Tears is one hell of a drug. This song is a piece of a much larger story, a much bigger world. My mixtape is a world. It’s been fun to kind of tell my crazy story through entirely different and new mediums. This quote will make more sense later.” The song kind of sounds like it would play in an arcade video game and the lyrics add a dark twist as they poke at the insecurites of the citizens of New York City (or Wonderland, in Ro's world).
