Simian Ghost‘s sparkling album Youth, which includes P&P premiered “The Capitol” and the dreamy “Wolf Girl,” has been out for while now and it’s a record I keep coming back to, especially on lazy weekends and slow moving evenings. The production is 20 carat diamond bright, and lead singer Sebastian Arnström’s vocals nail a feeling of hazy nostalgia, never more than on “Automation”. The track is one of the most straightforwardly indie-pop cuts from the album, and it now has a gorgeously shot video which celebrates the freedom of youth through a hazily filtered lens.
