The last we heard of Rosie Lowe, she was singing on Lil Silva’s surprisingly mellow, but utterly excellent “No Doubt,” and now the British singer is back with a heartfelt ode to failed relationships. Like the gentler, edgier cousin to Adele’s “Someone Like You,” “Right Thing” sees Lowe wishing her ex-lover well even as she mourns the end of their relationship. With haunting, slow-moving production from Kwes and Dave Okumu, this song bodes well for Rosie Lowe’s Right Thing EP, which is out December 2.
