Fem Fel is a British rapper and songwriter whose laid-back, almost spoken-word delivery and sonic experimentation is immediately reminiscent of Ghostpoet’s esoteric take on hip-hop, but with even more of a gritty, grime influenced edge. His < o (Left of center) EP is out November 25 via Invader Music, and it’s a wonderfully varied, deeply personal, and by turns thought-provoking and plain fun four-track effort, with the breakbeat-riddled “Massive” and this song, “Over,” the standouts.
