Would you be brave enough to listen to just Nickleback 24/7 for an entire week? That’s 168 hours of Nickleback, by the way.
Well, a true hero by the name of Jesse is currently doing exactly that this week (February 16-22), and he has raised over $18,000 for charity:water so far. The original target of $5,000 dollars was quickly surpassed, and you can find out more and donate here (where there are also some jokes at Nickleback’s expense, which Nickleback will almost certainly not find funny). Question: Why 24/7 of Nickelback?
Answer: Because it is the ultimate test of human endurance. I’m willing to put my personal health at risk for the challenge. Obviously, exposure to such a large quantity of Nickelback is very dangerous.
Question: Is listening to this much Nickelback even legal?
Answer: To my understanding, most jurisdictions frown on listening to more than 4 Nickelback songs back-to-back. I have retained several lawyers in case some hot-shot prosecutor decides to press charges.
