When Run The Jewels perform on late night television it’s always unmissable (watch them do “Early” on Letterman with Boots if you need a reminder), and their appearance last night on Colbert was no different. Killer Mike and El-P performed “Angel Duster,” the closing track from RTJII, backed by none other than TV On The Radio, and even a small string section.
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert has done a great job with the musical guests so far, with Kendrick Lamar performing an incredible medley of songs off To Pimp A Butterfly just last week. Remind yourself of that here after you’ve watched Run The Jewels above.
