Royce Wood Junior’s first track “Nuff” was certainly rather similar in sound to the music made by his housemate Jamie Woon, but “Hardly” has a sound all its own. Written with Rosie Lowe, Royce Wood Junior’s new song is a wonderfully weird mix of softly cooed vocals and glitchy, off-kilter production. Or, as his Soundcloud page says, “whitey soul and blips.” Either way, it’s fantastic.
