Hatch is yet another Australian artist making waves outside his own country. He’s a producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist making futuristic pop music who manages, on “Direction,” to smoothly blend interesting electronic production with more straightforward vocals. The remix by UV boi, who collaborated with Ryan Hemsworth on “Gods,” takes things into harder hitting territory, with pounding drums, and the focus put on a bright and skittish little melody that weaves in and out.
