British four-piece Fun Adults combined crisp percussion and sweeping, sun-kissed melodies on last year’s double A-side release of “Sap Solid” and “Acacia,” and they build on those tendencies with their new single “For Water.” Golden vocal harmonies float above a shimmering web of keys and guitar, and although everything has clearly been meticulously arranged to achieve an atmospheric end product, the song retains an organic, natural feel that is often lacking in today’s music.
“For Water” will be released May 27 as a 7″ single with “Peek & Punch” on the wonderfully named Handsome Dad Records.
