We introduced you to Elder Island, who are Katy Sargent, David Havard and Luke Thornton, as part of our Daily Discovery feature, and they’re delivering on the early promise of their excellent first song “What It’s Worth” with a five-track EP. “Big Unknown” sees the trio again mixing quirky production with a definite pop sensibility and those immediate, soulfully tinged female vocals that drew us in originally.
