Listen to Evian Christ's Menacing Remix of Ben Frost's "Venter"

The case of Evian Christ is an interesting one. He first got picked up by Tri Angle Records for his off-kilter Kings & Them EP, which saw him chopping up recognizable rap and R&B samples and placing them in the greyscale world he was creating. Then Yeezus happened, and Evian was called to Paris to work on the record, subsequently signed to G.O.O.D. Music for his beats, and became popular on a much wider scale than one might have anticipated first listening to Kings & Them.

Since then, Evian’s work has ranged from the excellent Waterfall EP to this bland London Grammar remix, and his latest offering, a remix of Ben Frost’s “Venter,” is as eerily menacing as anything he’s produced.

The excellent remix comes from the V A R I A N T EP, featuring five remixes of tracks from Ben Frost’s latest album A U R O R A. Check it out below.
