With the release of the first two singles from Bitter Rivals, Sleigh Bells showed that they’d lost none of the energy and power that helped their first two albums of spiky guitar-pop to such popularity. There is however a “cleaner” sound on the new album, according to guitarist Derek Miller, which you can check out in person during the band’s extensive fall tour (dates below).
