Just as S O H N did with his warm, bassy remix of “Green Garden,” Robin Hannibal of the wonderful Rhye has taken Laura Mvula’s “She” and made it entirely his own. Getting rid of the orignal’s slowly building energy, Hannibal has smoothed things out, added some delicate strings, and turned in a gorgeous, subtle rework that contains a perfect balance of the two artist’s distinct styles.
