Jagga, who leaped into our musical consciousness with the powerful “Out Of Control,” is putting his booming voice to good use again on “Hold Me,” another heavyweight song, this time full of powerful production from the outset. Jagga really sells the chorus of “hold me, hold me tonight,” imbuing the lines with real emotion and passion as his voice is buffeted and battered by waves of distorted guitar and punishing percussion, barely staying afloat, but eventually coming through the storm mostly unscathed.
