Joshua Idehen recently released a brilliant album, Fires In The Park (which we were happy to premiere here), as part of Benin City, and he’s back already with his other band, Hugh. Consisting of Andy Highmore, Holly Bestic, Tino Kolarides, and Idehen himself, Hugh have just released “Not Fair Too Far…,” a downcast pop song which sees Idehen’s one-of-a-kind voice joined by softer female vocals and a pulsating synth line. There are also nods to Idehen’s past in spoken word performance in the song’s second half, before it builds again to a powerful climax.
