Warp Records luminary Squarepusher has remixed “Meltdown,” the excellent first single from Ghostpoet’s forthcoming album, taking the gently mumbled mournfulness of the original and launching it into space. With the addition of rumbling bass and brooding synths, the remix is many times more epic than the original, whilst retaining the same sense of loss and isolation.
“Meltdown,” the first single from Ghostpoet’s sophomore album Some Say I So I Say Light, will be released May 6.
