Two Inch Punch is on a bit of a pop production tear at the moment, getting behind the boards for Sam Smith’s last two singles “Money On My Mind” and “Safe With Me,” a new one from British singer Javeon, and now this great track from Ella Eyre. Ella is a 19-year-old from London who was recently included on the BBC Sound of 2014 longlist alongside artists like Chance The Rapper and Banks, and from the sound of “Love Me Like You,” it’s clear why.
Her voice has a timeless, soulful quality to it, with definite hints of Amy Winehouse’s rich tone, and paired with Two Inch Punch’s bass and horn-heavy production it , “Love Me Like You” is a nice something different.
