Bobby Womack’s new album, and his first since 1994, is set to be truly excellent. The first single “Please Forgive My Heart” served as a timely reminder of the power of this soul legend’s voice and now this track, with its bassy production alongside funky guitar playing shows that along with Damon Albarn and Richard Russell, Bobby Womack is going to push out the boat a bit with this one.
