Oooh Pete Doherty, you’re making me feel waves of early 2000s nostalgia with this new song, “Nothing Comes To Nothing,” which is the first single from Babyshambles’ forthcoming album Sequel To The Prequel. After a stretch of tumultuous, negative headline garnering but musically extremely fruitful years making music as part of The Libertines and then Babyshambles from 2000 to 2005, Doherty has, by his own standards, been keeping fairly quiet. Babyshambles released their last album in 2007, and now have finally finished their third LP, which will be released September 2, with Doherty telling NME recently:
“I don’t want this to be half arsed, I want to get up there and really fucking smash it out. Babyshambles aren’t back, this band has always been here”
