Much like fellow Swede Lykke Li, Alice Boman’s lyrics are frank and direct, revealing the most personal thoughts in the darkest corners of her mind. “What” set the tone with painful lyrics like “when you think about me, do you even think about me?” and a gentle lo-fi feel that suggested it had been recorded in a log cabin on cobweb covered equipment, and “Over” has a similar feel.
