I’ve been championing the UK duo Snow Ghosts, a collaboration between electronic producer Throwing Snow (Ross Tones) and vocalist Augustus Ghost (Hanna Cartwright), since hearing the dark and powerful “Murder Cries,” an unexpected mixture of folky vocals and hyperactive production. “Secret Garden” saw the duo exploring a gentler but no less impressive side, and now the whole of their debut album is available to stream below. It’s emotional and gripping throughout, with Cartwright’s expressive vocals and Tones’ often manic production taking turns to impress.
