Watch Tyler, The Creator Debut a New Song Addressing His UK Ban

The bass-filled new song channels Tyler, The Creator's aggression into one hell of a statement.

Tyler, The Creator put on his very first fashion show over the weekend, and during the show he took the chance to debut a fiery new track. Reportedly titled “EGO,” the track takes specific aim at his UK troubles, with his effective ban on entering the the country lasting the next 3-5 years. Understandably, he’s not too happy with the situation, and he’s said as such when he explained he was being treated “like a terrorist.”

In the new song he debuted at the event, he starts the song by mentioning Theresa May, who was responsible for denying Tyler his visa to enter the country, saying “his work ‘encourages violence and intolerance of homosexuality’ and ‘fosters hatred with views thats seek to provoke others to terrorist acts…’” In “EGO,” he starts by rapping, “They said some old lines was offensive/I was young I can’t apologize for that shit/They took my fiction literature for literal/I ain’t no motherfuckin’ criminal.”

He speaks more about his ban in the track, and also mentions his new line of shoes among many other subjects. Thanking the crowd for turning up, Tyler puts on one hell of performance with his debut of the new song.
