Richie Quake has been impressing us for a while now with his approach to R&B, blending countless styles into one his own with a number of atmospheric and catchy tracks. Streamlining things for the straight-to-the-point “Irresistible (Ice Cold)” earlier this year, Richie Quake is now cutting right to the action with the slick “Sweet Talk.” Perhaps a little more blunt than we’re used to from Richie, “Sweet Talk” removes love from the equation.
Following on from last year’s In Love N’ Memory EP, Richie has brushed up his talents when it comes to both his production and his hook-writing abilities. Released through FiveSe7enMusic, “Sweet Talk” is as smooth as its name implies. If this is the direction Richie is headed in from here on out, then we’re in for a treat and a nice change of pace with his next release.
