Caroline Polachek of Chairlift announced her debut solo album as Ramona Lisa not too long ago. The album, Arcadia, will be released through Terrible Records on April 15. We’ve now been treated to a second taste from the upcoming LP, “Backwards And Upwards.” The wonderfully strange cut retains Polachek’s stunning vocals, whilst providing a colder, and harsher backdrop than what she usually works with. It’s considerably less pop than what we’re used to hearing from her, but it’s no less enjoyable for it.
