Over the past year, Dubai-based wunderkind Misogi has really been making a name for himself. Collaborating with some of Soundcloud’s cult elite, the young and talented producer gained support from some heavy-hitters remarkably fast, and for good reason, too. His music is constantly evolving, from darker bass-lathered atmospherics, to lighter energetic bursts of sounds — there’s no telling where he’s heading next. In fact, that seems to be exactly what he’s basing his upcoming EP around.
“PINK2,” the first single taken from the as of yet unnamed EP, takes a step back from the sample-based approach found on the Occult EP, opting instead for a more colorful and electronic angle. Showing his knack for bringing a sense of urgency to any approach as well as his ever-expanding versatility, “PINK2” promises big things from his next release.
