Neil Cicierega

While many have long considered Girl Talk the master of mash-ups, internet legend Neil Cicierega has been determined to prove he's the true heir to the throne with his absolutely insane Mouth series. In 2014, the artist and comedian released Mouth Sounds and Mouth Silence, proving his inventiveness as a mash-up artist. Using Smash Mouth's "All Star" as a recurring element on one of the albums, it's evident that Neil is having a lot of fun with the projects.

In all honesty, the albums should sound absolutely horrible, but they somehow work despite the sources used. Now Neil has returned with his third release in the series, Mouth Moods. Using more samples than ever before, Mouth Moods is by far the most ambitious of the three albums. The thing with Mouth Moods, aside from being absolutely hilarious, is that it's also remarkably well made. Both ridiculous and ridiculously good, Mouth Moods is hypnotizing from beginning to end, regardless of just how silly it can get.

For those unaware of Neil's previous work, he's perhaps best known for his Potter Puppet Pals series, as well as his "Brodyquest" video. Don't let the fact the album uses elements of Drowning Pool and Korn put you off, because there's a lot going on here to enjoy.
