Despite only coming out with his most recent project, Wave[s], back in August, Mick Jenkins is gearing up to release his full-length debut album later this year. To tide us over until then, he’s shared the Kaytranada and THEMpeople-produced “The Artful Dodger,” which features a BadBadNotGood sample. Atop the creepy but propulsive instrumental, Mick delivers a series of rapidly delivered lines that remind us of just how great a rapper he really is.
