Okay, we admit it, we’ve been sleeping on Jessy Lanza. Her super-sleek debut Pull My Hair Back snuck out on Hyperdub last year, and its unique brand of spectral R&B is certainly something that we could do with more of. But 2014 is definitely going to be the year in which more people begin to take notice (including us). She just dropped a breezy 34-minute mix for Modular People, and it’s full of excellent selections that put her sound into perspective. The mix contains tracks from Shlohmo, Tinashe, and Le1f among others.
