Danish Four-Piece Liss Sign to XL Recordings, Share "Sorry"

Danish four-piece Liss caught the attention of some important people last year with their debut single “Try.” The young group have announced today that they’ve signed with prestigious indie label XL Recordings, with a four track EP on the way later this year. The First EP, which will be released May 13, will be their debut release on XL. The self-directed video for the lead single “Sorry” has been released to coincide with the announcement, and it makes it look like XL made a wise choice signing the group.

“Sorry” seamlessly blends a number of genres into a whole entirely their own, with lead singer Søren Holm leading the way with his distinct vocals. Backed by luscious instrumentation, “Sorry” is a gorgeous effort that really shines a bright light on the group’s considerable talents. Liss more than live up to XL’s stellar pedigree, making the prospect of their inevitable debut album all the more exciting going by XL’s track record.
