Earlier this year, it was revealed that Johnny Jewel and the rest of Chromatics were involved in the new season of David Lynch and Mark Frost's Twin Peaks. Jewel announced a new album earlier this month, promising that it'd contain music from the upcoming Twin Peaks revival. Featuring collaborations with Glass Candy, Symmetry, Heaven, Chromatics, and Desire, the album carries a heavy Twin Peaks vibe throughout.

It's unclear which of the tracks are going to turn up in the new season, but regardless it has us excited about the return of the much-loved cult show. The latest video for the album definitely has a big Twin Peaks influence, featuring a woman wrapped in plastic just as Laura Palmer was when she was found dead in the pilot episode of the show. Of course, Jewel isn't the only artist to write new music for the show, as Angelo Badalamenti will be returning as composer.

Back when the extensive cast list for the new season was revealed last year, Ruth Radelet of Chromatics was listed, leading many to believe she'll be performing at the Roadhouse bar just like Julee Cruise did in the original run of the show. They aren't the only musicians confirmed to appear in the show, either, with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, and Sky Ferreira all set to make an appearance, too.

Listen to the album below, and look out for the new season of Twin Peaks when it premieres on Showtime May 21.
