Flying Lotus premiered his debut film Kuso at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, and the screening was greeted with almost constant walkouts due to its content. The body horror comedy film's wide release is arriving soon, but it already has a infamous reputation, with The Verge labeling it as "the grossest movie ever made." Taking to Twitter, Flying Lotus announced that he's landed a distribution deal for the film in North America and the UK, with the film arriving on horror-oriented streaming service Shudder on July 21.

The film will also be available on iTunes and Amazon on the same day, and will be screened in select theaters in both Los Angeles and New York. The film stars Iesha Coston, Zack Fox, Tim Heidecker, Hannibal Buress, and George Clinton among others. It's also set to contain original music from FlyLo himself, Aphex Twin, Thundercat, and Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka. It also contains work from English animator David Firth, who co-wrote the film with FlyLo and Zack Fox.

Flying Lotus has also promised that the film will get a physical release in the future, too. "After Kuso played at Sundance, Shudder have been on top of this thing," he explained. "I'm so glad my first film will be in the best home possible. Y'all can't hate on ShudderNetflix are scared as fuck of me and David Firth. Shudder came thru like hey. $ and a Yo. We got u." It should be warned that the film has some extreme content in it, but that also makes it perfect for Shudder, which includes body horror classics like Tetsuo: The Iron Man.
