Common

Earlier this month, Common shared his politically-charged 11th studio album, Black America Again. The 44-year-old Chicago rapper proved he's still got what it takes to make engaging music with the album, recruiting artists young and old through appearances from John Legend, BJ the Chicago Kid, Syd, and Stevie Wonder. With a diverse cast of musicians helping him deliver his message, Common came through with a strong reminder of his talents with Black America Again.

Now Common has shared an alternate take on the album's title track, changing up the production and employing the talents of Gucci Mane, Pusha T, and BJ the Chicago Kid. The remix features well-delivered and lyrically interesting verses from all three rappers on the track, with Gucci discussing his time in prison, and Pusha tackling police violence.
