Germany’s annual Gamescom enjoys hundreds of thousands of visitors who look to experience what’s next in the realm of video games. 2015’s conference, currently in its third day and operating through August 9, gave rise to the convergence of several cultures.
Beloved band CHVRCHES participated in a booth show at the event, using a recent iteration of Rock Band. The game is in the same vein as Guitar Hero. What’s best about the clip of their appearance is the creator of the songs they played: Paramore. Lauren Mayberry assumed her usual role and handled vocals, while two others took charge of the guitar and a fourth took drums.
