Chicago wild boy Alex Wiley reignites the fire lit by his satiating one singular flame emoji EP with “Feast (Stove Freestyle).” Produced by YOG$, partly responsible for “My First Reply (‘Til It’s Over)” off Dom Kennedy’s recent self-titled album, “Feast” finds the vibrant rapper championing pretty-but-ugly swag and a DIY mentality over brooding, vocal-sampling instrumentation.
In a brief interview with Billboard, Wiley labeled his next project “warmer” and “smoother” than past efforts, and said it has “a whole new bounce.” It’s dropping this summer.
