Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon has a special ability for making everything he sings sound intensely emotional and beautiful. He recently performed a cover a Spoon’s single “Inside Out” and made it his own. Vernon’s version is completely stripped down—featuring just him and his piano.
The pairing visuals show him in a big open space only surrounded by a few spotlights. The visuals along with arrangement of the song, make Vernon’s cover of “Inside Out” a much more emotional experience. The dark and vacant setting, as well as the huge gusts of wind only seem to add to the beauty of it all.
